As Founding GP, Amit invests in AI-native systems re-architecting the enterprise—spanning data platforms, agentic workflows, cybersecurity, and autonomous enterprise automation.

Prior to founding, he led U.S. investments at Mahindra Ventures and invested at Pear VC and Spruce Capital Partners, following early work in enterprise infrastructure at the Tata Group.

His portfolio includes category-defining companies across data and security, including Databricks, Reposify (acquired by CrowdStrike), and Wootcloud (acquired by Netskope). Amit holds degrees from Stanford GSB, IIM, and IIT, and serves as Co-President of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs Silicon Valley.

His thesis: AI collapses the boundary between software, labor, and decision-making—transforming software from tools into autonomous systems, and applications into agents.

As Founding GP, Alok backs technical founders building at the edge of AI infrastructure, data systems, and enterprise software transformation.

Before co-founding the firm, he was a Partner at Emergent Ventures, where he invested in companies including Acceldata.io, Arcion.io, and Observe.ai.

He began his career at Microsoft Azure and was part of two exits—YuMe (IPO: NYSE) and Tempo.AI (acquired by Salesforce). Alok holds a PhD from UCLA and an undergraduate degree from IIT.
